A free dedicated camping area on the Bruce Highway run by the Townsville Council, maximum stay is 48 hours. A fairly pleasant spot alongside the creek with facilities, parklands, close to beaches etc. It is very popular and late comers were finding it difficult to get a camping spot.

Today I purchased a Gazebo (stand alone bus annexe) from Tent World in Townsville. The Gazebo was selected as a stand-alone bus annexe which had enough height to enable exercising. It was a low cost solution to creating an outdoor space which did not need to be packed up when commuting in the bus.
