More windy dramatic coastlines, numerous cliffed headlands interspersed with sandy beaches, very large dunal systems, low vegetation and always the southern ocean, huge, powerful and wild.

Apart from the absolutely clear water I have also noticed a distinct lack of plastic flotsum on the beaches. This immense body of water is about as pristine as you can get on this beautiful blue planet.

Some recent thoughts on Covid and Tasmania. There is no talk of even setting a date to relax Tasmania’s border restriction and therefore I am on the verge of just abandoning the whole idea of working in Tasmania. The alternative plan would be to make my way back to the NSW north coast region and enjoy the summer with family and friends. I can catch up with work scene in the Qld Autumn.
